    About Shannon

    Shannon, in Irish Sinoainn, is a town located in County Clare, Ireland, between Limerick and Ennis.


    It is a new town, since it was built in the 1960s to host Shannon Airport workers. In the following years, the town keep growing, especially in 1990s, when many of the town facilities and modern housing development were carried out.
