Naples Airport Terminal 1

Naples International Airport operates from a single terminal, efficiently managing all arrivals and departures, regardless of flight origin or destination. Its manageable size makes it a breeze to navigate, contributing to a smoother travel experience.

The airport is closed from 23:30 to 03:30, so plan your flights accordingly

Inside the Terminal:

The terminal is spread across two levels with plenty of natural light.

  • Ground Floor: This is the Arrivals hub, where you’ll find baggage claim and access to transportation. It also houses the check-in area for departures, split into sections B and C (with C serving non-Schengen flights). Additionally, the ground level offers a shopping arcade, a pharmacy, luggage services, and a few dining spots.
  • Upper Floor: This floor is dedicated to departures, specifically Area A for Schengen flights. You’ll also find the luggage storage area (near security), along with more shops, duty-free shopping, another pharmacy, restaurants, and bars. The airport lounge is conveniently located near Gate C17.

The terminal can get crowded, especially during peak times, with limited seating available

Key Features

  • The terminal has 20 gates and 53 check-in desks.
  • The baggage claim area features 7 belts.
  • There are 11 passenger and luggage checkpoints, as well as 16 e-Gates for automated passport control and 10 manual passport control points.

A Bit of History:

Naples Airport used to have a second terminal for charter flights, but it was demolished in 2015. Interestingly, the future Metro Line 1 station will be built on that former terminal site.

In a Nutshell:

Naples Airport’s single terminal design ensures a simple and streamlined journey, making it easy to find your way around.
