Kuwait International Airport (IATA: KWI, ICAO: OKBK) is the main gateway to Kuwait, located in Farwaniya, 16 kilometers south of Kuwait City. 


Kuwait Airport is a hub for Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways. KWI Airport has two operative runways. 

Kuwait Airport handled 15,735,580 passengers in 2019.

During 2020, due to coronavirus crisis, Kuwait Airport registered a total of 1.8 million passengers.
