Chiang Mai International Airport consists of two connected terminals divided in domestic and international.
The terminals are located within the same terminal building, which consists of a couple of levels and a good offer regarding services.

About Chaing Mai
Chiang Mai is the largest and most culturally significant city in Northern Thailand. It is the former capital of the Kingdom of Lanna (1296-1768).

Transport
Transportation service counters are located in the first floor of the terminal opposite to domestic and international arrivals lounge:
TIP: The city center is very close to the terminal, so probably the best option is to take a taxi or a tuk-tuk.
Taxi: Get within 20 minutes to downtown by taxi. Take into account that taxis don’t cross Chiang Mai City.

Tuk-Tuk: Tuk-tuk is the suitable and cheapest way to get to downtown. They’re not allowed to get into the airport premises without passengers.
Bus: Several bus routes operate from Chiang Mai Airport.
