Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (IATA: AMD, ICAO: VAAH), also known as Ahmedabad Airport, is an international airport serving Ahmedabad, Guajarat and Gandhinagar cities in India.


AMD Airport is located 9 km (5.6 miles) north of Ahmedabad city centre. The airport was renamed in honour to the first Prime Minister of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
